Ireland’s New Digital Immigration Portal Makes Life Easier for Applicants!
Starting October 24, 2024, Ireland introduced the Digital Contact Centre, an online self-service immigration portal designed to simplify the application process. With this new platform, first-time applicants can easily book and amend registration appointments without having to call a contact center. Plus, users can now check the status of their immigration applications directly online—no more back-and-forth with different offices!
The Digital Contact Centre will soon be able to help with a range of queries related to visas, registrations, residence permissions, travel documents, EU Treaty rights, and even citizenship applications. Before this launch, applicants had to manage separate systems for each step, often dealing with multiple administrative units and websites.
