Ireland: Reminder to Renew Residence Permits Before the Holidays

Irish immigration authorities are reminding residents in Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow, Limerick, and Cork to submit their Irish residence permit renewals online by October 31, 2024 if they plan to travel over the Christmas period and their cards are expiring soon. Applications submitted after this deadline may not be processed in time for holiday travel.

If you’re a resident outside of these areas and planning to travel, it’s a good idea to contact your local Garda National Immigration Bureau office to schedule a renewal appointment as soon as possible.
