Czech authorities have introduced a new rule that requires individuals to register with the Czech Labor Office when renewing their residence permit. Previously, this registration was only needed for initial residence permit applications.

Now, with the introduction of a new permit number system, even those renewing their residence permits will need to submit updated information to the Ministry of Labour for same-day registration processing.
