Poland now requires employers to submit employment contracts for all new foreign hires online via the government’s Praca platform before the employee can start work.

• Effective dates:

  • July 1, 2025: Applies to foreign nationals working under a Special Permission.

  • August 1, 2025: Applies to those working under a work permit.

Previously, employers were not required to file foreign employees’ contracts. Under the new rule, work cannot commence until the contract is uploaded. Non-compliance may result in fines and revocation of the worker’s authorization.

This requirement does not affect employees hired before the applicable start dates.
