New Australian Immigration Application: Simplifying Visa Applications for Eligible Applicants!

Exciting news for those planning to apply for a visa to Australia! The Department of Home Affairs has launched a fantastic new mobile app called the Australian Immigration Application. This free app is designed to make life easier for eligible visa applicants by allowing them to submit their biometrics directly from their phones.

If you’ve previously visited an Australian biometric collection center, you can now upload your facial biometrics and passport details without the hassle of going to a collection center. How great is that?

Right now, the app is available to applicants in Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand (including foreign nationals living in New Zealand). Eligible applicants will receive a special letter from the Department inviting them to download and use the app.

The goal of the Australian Immi App is to streamline the visa application process and boost travel between Australia and the Pacific. While we don’t have information yet on when it will be available in other countries, we promise to keep you updated on any developments.
